Pioneer to Hold Virtual Annual Meeting on June 11
Deadline to register is June 8, 2020
The March 28, 2020, annual meeting was postponed due to Ohio’s ban on large gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was our plan to hold the meeting at a later date; however, as there is uncertainty about how long the ban will remain, the Pioneer board has decided to host an electronic virtual meeting instead.
Members can register for the meeting here or by sending an email to email@example.com or calling the cooperative at 800-762-0997. We will need the following information: Name, account number, phone number, and email address. Please use only one method to register. Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation of your registration, which will include the GoToWebinar link needed to join the meeting. It will also include a phone number and instructions if you would prefer not to go online but would still like to hear the meeting via phone.
Registration for the meeting will also make you eligible for the door prize drawing to be conducted following the meeting. Bill credits will be awarded to eight lucky registered Pioneer members — two worth $200, two for $150, two for $100, and two worth $50.
You’re also encouraged to submit a question to be addressed during the meeting. We will attempt to get to all we receive but will respond individually to anyone whose question was unable to be included because of time constraints.
The virtual format doesn’t provide an effective means for members to cast their votes for the proposed amendments to the Code of Regulations that were to be presented in March. The board of trustees voted to delay that vote, as well as the approval of the minutes from the 2019 annual meeting, until the 2021 annual meeting.
