Pioneer Electric Cooperative provides members up-to-date information via text messaging (SMS) to alert members load control is in use due to peak demand and to provide two-way outage communication.
How do Outage Text Alerts work?
Our outage text alerts will send you status updates and estimated restoration times via (800) 762-0997.
All text messaging (SMS) services are completely optional. To opt out, simply respond to any message with QUIT and your number will be removed from the system. Opting out of peak alerts does not opt you out of outage alerts.
To report an outage: text OUT and a ticket is automatically generated in our system.
To get a status report: text STATUS and a restoration notice will be sent immediately. The notice will include an estimated time of restoration.
Our text messaging (SMS) services are compatible with all major cellular carriers. Data charges may apply.
