Rebates + Incentives

Pioneer Electric Cooperative provides rebates and incentives to our residential and commercial consumer-members for a variety of energy efficient equipment purchases and upgrades.

Geothermal

Members are eligible for up to a $900 bill credit for installing a geothermal system with either electric or fossil fuel backup.

Heat Pump

Members may be eligible for up to a $500 bill credit for installing an air source heat pump with an automatic fossil fuel (dual fuel), or electric back up.

Electric Water Heater

Members may be eligible to receive a bill credit for installing a new electric or heat pump water heater.

Insulation

Members could be eligible for an insulation installation rebate. To be qualified, members must use a licensed contractor for installation.

Additional Rebates & Incentives

Electric Vehicle Level 2 Charger

Members with an electric vehicle level 2 charger installed at their service address maybe be eligible to receive a $250 incentive. The equipment must be installed between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024. The incentive issued will be in the form of a credit to the member's electric account.

Geothermal & Heat Pump Rate Discount

Members with either a geothermal unit or a dual fuel system may be eligible to receive a rate discount of $0.02 per kWh, maximum $20.00 discount per month.

Cool Returns

Members with a central air conditioner or an air-source or ground-source heat pump are eligible to participate in the Cool Returns program. Members can earn a one-time $100 bill credit for participating.
