Pioneer Electric holds 87th Annual Meeting of Members

Pioneer’s 87th Annual Meeting of Members was held on April 1, 2023, at Upper Valley Career Center in Piqua. The meeting was led by Pioneer’s Board Chair Terrence Householder, who presented an overview of the cooperative’s accomplishments in 2022. Householder spoke about Pioneer’s commitment to reliability by regularly inspecting and maintaining equipment. He went on to share that the co-op changed out more than 2,500 electric meters across Pioneer’s system, upgraded more than 14 miles of electric line, and replaced 140 distribution poles throughout the service territory — 46 of which were due to vehicle accidents throughout 2022. “All of...

Who’s on the Ballot?

As a member-consumer of Pioneer Electric Cooperative, you play an important role in the cooperative’s success. Voting in our annual election is just one way you can show your cooperative involvement and have a voice in the decisions that are being made within the co-op. Members should be receiving their 2023 Board of Trustees and county board election ballots via mail at the end of February. Mark your calendar! We invite you to join us on Saturday, April 1, 2023, for Pioneer’s 2023 Annual Meeting. The event will include a complete recap of the work accomplished in 2022 and what’s to come in 2023. Those attending will be provided a warm breakfast. 2022 Annual Meeting Recap

Pioneer Electric Cooperative held its 86th annual meeting on Saturday, March 26th at Upper Valley Career Center in Piqua, OH, and streaming online. The hybrid event featured an innovative digital scavenger hunt to engage new member segments. Member feedback from the event was overwhelmingly positive with many commenting on the hybrid setup, brief business meeting, and fun digital engagement. Pioneer’s 2022 Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022. This year’s event is hybrid with limited in-person seating. Tickets are required to attend.
