Energy Superheroes Art Contest

The art contest is open to children in kindergarten to 8th grade. Categories: K–2, 3–5, 6–8 grades. Artwork should be completed on an 11- x 14-inch or smaller sheet of white paper. Entries will be judged on creativity and overall artistic ability according to your age category. Winners will be announced and published in our May issue of Ohio Cooperative Living magazine. Electric Co-ops on Capitol Hill

  Last week, representatives from electric cooperatives throughout the nation, including two from Pioneer, attended the 2023 Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. Ohio co-ops met with nine Representatives and Senators Sherrod Brown and JD Vance to discuss power generation, reliability, supply chain challenges, and federal permitting processes. Arbor Day Foundation Awards Recognition to Pioneer Electric Cooperative as 2023 Tree Line USA Utility

Pioneer Electric Cooperative was named a 2023 Tree Line USA by the Arbor Day Foundation to recognize its dedication to proper urban forest management in the provider’s service area. Tree Line USA, a partnership between the Arbor Day Foundation and the National Association of State Foresters, recognizes public and private utilities for pursuing best practices that protect and cultivate America’s urban tree canopy.
