New EPA Rules Threaten Electric System Reliability

Electric Co-ops on Capitol Hill

  Last week, representatives from electric cooperatives throughout the nation, including two from Pioneer, attended the 2023 Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. Ohio co-ops met with nine Representatives and Senators Sherrod Brown and JD Vance to discuss power generation, reliability, supply chain challenges, and federal permitting processes. Pioneer Electric Cooperative was named a 2023 Tree Line USA by the Arbor Day Foundation to recognize its dedication to proper urban forest management in the provider’s service area.
