Pioneer Electric awarded 10 scholarships to children of members. Eight of those area high school seniors have been selected to receive Pioneer Electric Cooperative’s 2024 Children of Members scholarships, awarded to students who plan to attend a traditional college or university.

Thirty-eight students throughout Pioneer’s service territory applied for the scholarships and 25 students were interviewed, by judges from outside the cooperative, to narrow the applicants to 10.

  • $500 – Ethan Lukey, Houston
  • $500 – Reagan McPheron, Botkins

Additionally, Pioneer awarded two scholarships to high school seniors continuing their education at a trade school.
