Hess Promoted to Piqua Leader Lineman
Pioneer is very pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Hess to Piqua Leader Lineman effective September 22, 2021. Mike joined Pioneer in July of 2005 as a Lineman Trainee. Mike completed his apprenticeship training at the AEP training school and was promoted to First Class Lineman in August of 2009. In March of 2012 Mike took on the role of Lineman First Class Service. In this role Mike worked independently during the day. Prior to joining Pioneer, Mike worked for Champaign Landmark performing various duties.
Mike is always looking for ways to improve and has taken advantage of training opportunities during his time at Pioneer. One example of this is his completion of the COLT Journeyman Refresher program. Mike also served as a member of Pioneer’s equipotential grounding committee. Mike is a good communicator and has a high commitment to service. With Mike’s integrity and experience he will provide solid leadership for our line crew members.
