Safety Demonstration

We invite you to join us for an electric safety demonstration and training hosted by Pioneer Electric Cooperative. This event is designed to provide crucial safety information and hands-on demonstrations specifically tailored for those who may encounter downed powerlines, including but not limited to, first responders, school bus drivers, contractors, farmers, city workers and more. At Pioneer safety is our top priority and therefore, your safety and preparedness are incredibly important to us.

CEUs are available for attending this event. The training sessions will be held at our Urbana district facility located at 767 Three Mile Road, Urbana, Ohio, on the following date and times:

  • April 15, 2025, at 10 a.m. or 6:30 p.m.

During these sessions, you will learn about:

  • Recognizing and responding to electrical hazards
  • Proper safety protocols in the event of electrical emergencies
  • Use of personal protective equipment
  • Hands-on demonstration of safe practices around electrical equipment

Your participation will enhance your ability to respond effectively to electrical emergencies, ensuring not only your safety, but also the safety of individuals within our communities.
