Richard Promoted to Manager of Safety & Construction
Pioneer is very pleased to announce the promotion of Matt Richard to Manager of Safety and Construction effective August 16, 2021. Matt joined Pioneer in May of 2006 as a Lineman Trainee. In September of 2010, he was promoted to First Class Lineman. Matt took on the role of Lineman First Class Service in September of 2017, operating as a one-man service truck during the day.
Matt has a great track record regarding safety performance with only one recordable injury in his career, which was over a decade ago. In addition, Matt has an excellent driving record with zero vehicle accidents after driving Pioneer vehicles for over 15 years. Matt’s personal excellent safety performance will be helpful to lead and counsel employees on effective techniques to avoid injuries and vehicle accidents. Along with his exemplary performance, having someone in this role who knows what the job is will service our line crew members well at maintaining very high standards for the most important aspect of their job.
