McClay Promoted to Director of Operations & Safety
Steve McClay has become part of the management team of Pioneer Electric Cooperative with his recent promotion to Director of Operations and Safety. In this position, he will be responsible for all aspects of the co-op’s operations and safety functions. Steve first joined Pioneer in 1998 as a groundman trainee and became a first class lineman in 2002. During his career he has taken on greater responsibility and challenges on the path to his new appointment.
Steve’s leadership abilities, along with his dedication to Pioneer and its members make him an excellent choice for this new role.
